Canoes, kayaks and paddleboards on our own quiet stretch of canal. No engines, no crowds, just you and the water. Everything you need is included, and you can add a session to your stay.
On the water
Set off from our private launch on the North Walsham and Dilham Canal and glide through reed beds, past kingfishers and dragonflies. It is calm, shallow and traffic free, which makes it perfect for first timers and families as well as seasoned paddlers.
Every hire comes with buoyancy aids, paddles sized to you, and a friendly safety briefing before you go. Dry bags are available if you would like to keep things dry.

Two sessions a day. Prices are per vessel, not per person, so the more of you there are, the better the value.

Buoyancy aids, paddles and a safety briefing are included with every hire. Dry bags available to hire. Bringing your own boat? Collect a lanyard per vessel from the launch.

Better together
Guests at Tonnage Bridge can launch right from the pods, and every guest can add a canoe, kayak or paddleboard session when they book their stay. One trip, sorted.

Not at all. The canal is calm, shallow and traffic free, and you get a safety briefing before you set off. It suits complete beginners and families.
Yes. Children are welcome with adult supervision and are fitted with buoyancy aids. Get in touch if you would like advice on the right craft for your group.
