The Paterson family have farmed this land since 1949. We built the retreats to share it with you, while looking after the nature that makes it special.
Our story
Dilham Hall has been in our family since 1949. Luke, a fifth‑generation farmer, and his wife Louise grew up understanding this place season by season, and wanted to open it up so that others could feel what it is like to slow down here.
That is really what the retreats are about. Space. A chance to reconnect. A few days that turn into memories you keep. Whether you come as a couple, bring the family and the dog, or pitch a tent by the water, you are staying somewhere that is genuinely loved and looked after.
Carbon negative
Our latest carbon footprint assessment confirmed that the farm and retreats take more carbon out than they put in. The farm generates enough green energy each year to power around 1,250 homes.
It works in a circle. Our crops feed an anaerobic digestion plant, and what comes out goes back to the fields as natural fertiliser. Farming and hosting, designed to work with the land rather than against it.
